Julia Louis-Dreyfus Instagram – 🚨 Take one minute to stop Trump’s oil allies from wrecking California’s coastline!
A Texas company is on the verge of restarting the same leaky pipeline that already spilled crude across our beaches just 10 years ago.
Trump is actively cheering them on.
This isn’t just about oil — it’s about protecting our jobs, our tourism, our wildlife, and the California coast we love.
Fortunately, Governor @gavinnewsom and state leaders can stop this — if we raise our voices to help them.
They’re voting any day now on protections that require critical safety checks and public oversight before pipelines can restart. These safeguards are absolutely critical to stop another preventable disaster.
As @senadamschiff warned in the LA Times, “Big Oil and Donald Trump are counting on you to stay on the sidelines.”
So together, let’s prove we won’t back down.
I urged my state reps to act in just 60 seconds using @resistbot.
And I implore you and every Californian you know to make a big difference by doing the same:
👉 Text SPILL to 50409
👉 Or DM the word SPILL to @resistbot
Do it now, then share this post with 3 Californians who love our coast! | Posted on 06/Sep/2025 09:52:30
