Katherine Heigl Instagram – In early June, the @jasonheiglfoundation ’s Namaste Initiative touched down in Nome, Alaska—a remote, fly-in-only community where access to veterinary care is scarce and the weather often calls the shots.
Thanks to our grant recipient, @pawsofnome , dozens of pets received free spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, pain relief, antibiotics, cones, and the kind of compassionate care every animal deserves. This work was fully funded by my foundation, and I couldn’t be prouder.
PAWS has been a lifeline for animals in rural Alaska since 2013, and it’s an honor to stand beside them in the fight to reduce shelter intake, prevent overcrowding, and end needless euthanasia.
Every Namaste Day is a promise: fewer litters, fewer strays, and more lives saved.
