I am so grateful to have Portuguese in my blood and heritage. Every time I come to this beautiful country, I am reminded to stop chasing. There is a peace here that seems to be lacking in North America. It makes me stop and question- what is it all for? We can get so caught up in wanting the next thing, and all it does is leave us unsatisfied. Trying to satiate a hunger that is insatiable. Let’s stop and ask ourselves what really matters in our lives.
