On her birthday morning, she opened her gifts before school, blew out her candles, and I thought that was enough. But after school she hit me with, “So when’s my party, mama? I thought my birthday’s today and I had to have my party today.” 😭😂 She didn’t understand that her big spa party with all her friends was on the weekend, and I felt so bad seeing her upset on her big day. Virgo energy yall😂
So I scrambled, called up some friends, grabbed a cake and cake pops, and we sang happy birthday all over again before heading to a last-minute pool party on a school weekday😂 After swimming, she went home and opened even more presents. And that weekend, she had the most beautiful spa party with makeup, nails, a fashion show, the works 🩷 All her friends came, we were over capacity, and we still made it work for the girls 👯♀️ Ayah truly got the best of both worlds ✨
So grateful for all of our friends and family who showed up and showed out with us, we love you so much 💕
