Maitreyi Ramakrishnan Instagram – Children in Gaza are starving. One in three people hasn’t eaten in many days and four in five who die of starvation are children. No one should be okay with the weaponization of hunger. 
 
A small window has opened – a rare chance to deliver life-saving food, water, and hygiene supplies to families who have lost everything. Trucks are ready. Plan International just needs the support to send them out.
 
Elin, 11, is one of thousands waiting for relief. She lives in a displacement camp in northern Gaza and dreams of going home, returning to school, and building a future free from violence and fear. 
 
“No words or phrases can describe the extent of the injustice suffered by me and the children of Gaza. They destroyed our dreams, they shattered our sleep with bombs and gunpowder, poverty, and siege.” – Elin, writing in a poem.
