It still feels unreal. You were the coolest. Always laughing at random cat videos, snapping photos like a pro, and always in your pyjamas, sticking to your fixed, cannot-change bedtime routines. You even kept all your cucu’s photos. And your phone wallpaper… was me. I always felt so loved by you. I’m sorry I’ve been so busy these past few months. I’m the only cucu who didn’t go back to Tronoh to see you when you weren’t well. Angah minta maaf Atuk. Terkilan sangat. Terkilan, and it shatters my heart. What hurts even more is… I had already made plans to visit you next week. Just a couple more days, Atuk. My heart broke when I saw you lying there in your pyjamas, getting ready to be taken to the masjid untuk dimandikan. You and your PJs… too cute, Atuk. Too cute that it made me cry even harder. 💔 I always looked forward to balik kampung to see you, to hug you, to kiss you, and to see your warm smile.
