In Morocco, our street dogs and cats are still victims of massacres, even though a humane and effective solution exists: TNVR (Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return).
We call for the immediate implementation of the TNVR program enacted by the 2019 convention and the removal of Article 5 from the proposed Law 19-25, which criminalizes compassion towards animals.
Protecting animals is not an option, it is a matter of dignity and justice for the human collective.
