This is our neighborhood church. We only attend every first Sunday to take #Communion. The rest of the month we watch from home. Why? A picture says a thousand words. At a community gathering a neighbor asked me why we moved here. I said, “For our Son, this is one of the best schools in the nation. For the history of this community, our landlord is a kind man, a good man and could have chosen many a family but he chose ours because he recognized our child deserved a fair opportunity just like everyone else’s. And, I like the people, especially you.” She said, “What do you do for a living?” I said, “I’m on a cartoon.” She said, “Which one? Black Samurai?” (I believe this was a thinly veiled reference to #Ubisofts delayed game #AssassinsCreedShadows. Which portrays one Black Samurai surviving in an Asian world.) I said, “No, it’s called #TheProudFamily and it’s Disney’s first African-American cartoon.” She said with a smile, “I should’ve been a K-Pop star.” I said, “Like #BlackPink?” Her jaw dropped and she said, “You know #BlackPink?” I said, “I know #LaLisa!” She said, “It’s Lisa.” I said, “Not when she raps, in our world, where she’s welcomed with open arms and lots of love, it’s #LaLisa, and she’s a hip-hop superstar!” She shut up. Now that’s a 🔥 I used to be a democrat but WE also used to be Republicans…in all my years of voting ☺️ I see a trend…I MAKE MORE MONEY when Republicans are in office. Democrats by definition are for the people where Republicans think for the people. It doesn’t matter who’s in office the Supreme Court overturned RoevsWade Republicans believe we need more people, other countries outnumber us by billions more people means more opportunities for our country to progress. It’s about the bigger picture, not just what we want in the moment but what’s best for our future. Democrats believe it’s your choice, I agree. But again, talk to Clarence. The common man doesn’t go to college but everyone pays taxes. The president is just a figurehead and I prefer my president to not go to SK talking bout his sexual prowess with other people’s wives…you’re voting for the party so just make sure you balance your vote with other candidates in the other party, that’s what I do.
