Persia White Instagram – My perfect BIRTHDAY SONG. I directed this music video for the song ROBOT LOVE, one of my favorite tracks on my album LOVE LETTERS. This song is very special to me and close to my heart. It carry’s a message of birth, death, passion, love, pain, and hope. It’s a hybrid of electronic and organic music, a sweet spot that touches me deeply.
I want to take a moment to give thanks for all the gifts I have been granted in my time on this earth. Thank you to everyone who supported and inspired my music, and my art! Thank you to everyone who helped bring it and this video into existence. Thank you to my love, my partner in crime, my muse @therealjosephmorgan, who lovingly went along with my wild idea to shoot this video with just the two of us, alone on a tiny secluded beach in Hawaii! It was physical, it was unrealistic, and it was very me. Thank you to the Magic of Hawaii, thank you to the ocean and all the life inside it that fills my heart and soul, and thank YOU the one who listens. Thank you to the artists and people who inspire me. Thank you to the people whose hearts continue to pound to the beat of your own drum. I hear you, I see you, I love you.
Both this video and song were recored in Hawaii, with guest vocals of my amazing Mecca White! It was fantastic working in the studio with Mecca. Both of our vocals were tracked at @ideastudioz with the fantastic engineer Alex Soren and DJ Idea. The final mix was by George Sears then later mastered by Chris Gehringer.
