Just wanted to share this recap video of our first project for Permata (@jewelchildrenshome) in Candidasa, Bali. Thanks to your GoFundMe and Kitabisa donations, our team of 12 volunteers renovated a space to create a multipurpose room. Along with creating our 2000-brick mural sourced from @televisistarcatalog textile offcuts, we installed new floor tiling, doors, and donated 2 sewing machines. What was supposed to be a 2-day trip turned into a week-long adventure, and it was worth every second. Along with creating our mural and renovating the space, we held workshops teaching the children how to sew and create upcycled garments, as well as recycle their textile offcuts.
