Spring has sprung an Aries moon. We exist now in that in-between place. The bud about to bud. The worm feeling through the dirt, searching for light. The baby in the canal. It’s quiet here, reflective. A firework at the ready. We shake off our shoulders, step into the warm door, kick the snow from our boots. Our hands begin to melt back into their purpose, the fire glows in our eyes. A hopeful new year. That necessary pause between inhale, exhale, red light, green light.
