That’s a wrap! Four months of friends, pumping in a prosthetic, watching the seasons change and figuring out the work/life balance. Feeling so grateful and lucky @hooraymae ✨

“We were talking to @sarahgadon and her boyfriend about the Canadian film community and how wonderfully interdependent everybody is, and how supportive, and how creative and artistic the environment is.” Back at the TIFF ‘14 premiere of David Cronenberg’s MAPS TO THE STARS, @juliannemoore shouted out the people and culture of the Canadian film industry. Cronenberg’s film went on to be a Canada’s Top Ten selection that year, and his latest film THE SHROUDS made this year’s list as well. #SeeTheNorth 📸George Pimentel

Spent a glorious afternoon @trovewellbeing and I will 1000% be heading back there. Had my first session with a naturopath and I’m very excited to get my blood work back and start this journey. Especially after developing a postpartum thyroid condition. I did the sauna and cold plunge (not very elegantly 😂), the lymphatic compression suit as well as time on the PMF mat in the salt cave. Felt like heaven on earth. 🤍
@knix Has launched @holtrenfrew & their swim is smokin 🔥🔥🔥 what a fun afternoon 🫶 @joannaknix @sarahbresler 🇨🇦
I was deeply saddened to learn of Trey Helten’s passing. Though I was just one of the countless lives he touched, I felt the depth of his kindness and generosity. Trey consulted on a film I’ve nurtured for years, “Lullabies for Little Criminals”. From our first exchange, he invested himself fully…heart, mind, and soul. His wisdom was invaluable not just to the project, but to me personally. Beyond our collaboration, Trey was a steadfast advocate for the Downtown Eastside community. At the Overdose Prevention Society, he worked tirelessly to save lives and offer hope to those grappling with addiction. His efforts were not limited to harm reduction. He also championed artistic expression as a means of healing through many initiatives. Trey’s journey was one of redemption and service. He chose to channel his energy into helping others. His story was a beacon of hope, demonstrating that transformation is possible and that every individual has the capacity to make a difference. Bless you Trey. I was lucky to know you, even if it was just a little. If you would like to read more about Trey, Dan Fumano wrote a beautiful obituary about him @thevancouversun.
