What’s the most important lesson I learnt?
Having a good attitude and feeling optimistic about your adventures is the best way to enjoy an epic trip. We laughed a lot. Yes, we had hiccups along the way. Yes, we tested each other’s patience but we had the best time. We made the most of it and didn’t sweat the small stuff. Festering a negative attitude could’ve easily ruined the fun and I’m glad we managed to avoid it!
From the busy days to the quiet ones, I had a deep sense of appreciation that this nearly a month long holiday was a real gift. I’ll be the first to admit that I’m the kiamsiap one in this marriage so my hubby spoiling us with this trip makes me feel even more blessed. (cuz I would have planned something less elaborate) 🥹
