week recap – us open – gym – art class – church – girls night

i’ve written so many scripts, but this was the first time i got to watch something i wrote actually come to life.. as an actress i always felt nervous really pushing for something i wrote – it felt surreal seeing so many people working so hard to get the ideas i came up with alone in my bedroom to actually take form. somehow i found myself in the director’s chair, learning as i went, and i’ve never grown so much in such a short time. stepping into the role of director after being on the other side of the camera since i was a little girl was a wild experience, so much goes on behind the scenes that i had no idea about until this project. acting will always be my first love, but there’s something i’ve fallen for in this side too — the puzzle, the math of pulling it all together, and seeing a vision take shape piece by piece. thank you to the amazing cast & crew @sawyersharbino @roccolupomusic @anetakernova @jennifermicheledewinter @mckinleyculmer @rachelgonzagaa & @arihergoddess @taliajwilliams yaboyadub @gabisoleil_ dopestdopeieversmoked1 @piikete_yz125x @ogkushh__718 @sessionatorfilms @a_prince4real & many others that helped pull this together. 🫶🏼
