I hear the echoes of your paws,
Soft whispers dancing on the floor.
But when I turn to call your name,

I close my eyes, and there you are,
My little boy, my brightest star.

You were our son, our family.

The way you ran when Dad came home,
You knew the sound,
Tail wagging fast, eyes full of cheer,
