Susan Kelechi Watson Instagram – So proud of my friend @andreholland who’s film @lovebrooklynmovie brooklyn opened as the 4th biggest opening of any specialty box office film this year. So often we are told by studios that stories like this are too small and don’t have an audience but let’s keep proving them wrong. Enjoy the breath, pauses & slice of life moments that happen as the search for love connection and understand unfold across my beloved brooklyns landscape. It’s different, it’s familiar, its indie, it’s all of ours.
Big up to my friends @nikkibeharie @dewandawise @cassiedamsel @carrapatterson @sayconsengbloh @roywoodjr for creating art from the heart. And congrats to @rachaelabigailholder on her feature film debut.
Nationwide Sept 5th yall!
