There is a tenderness in the rain that always stills me. The gentle rhythmic patter softening the noise of the world, the way city lights bend and blur into watery reflections, turning the ordinary into something dreamlike. Rain feels like letting go, a release of tangled thoughts, a pause in the mad rush of things. And yet, while I love this sense of peace, it hurts to see the devastation that has come with it; the lives lost, the heroes who gave theirs to save others. Stay safe 🩵🩶
