I was tagged on this post that phorographer @jordanmilton1 put together. Jordie being one of my favourite photographers in the country who has also captured very personal moments of my friends and family too.
This post made me so happy not only because of what it means to Jordie and I but also it exemplifies the GREAT TALENT of South African artists in collaboration.
I wanted to be FORMATION Beyoncé at the Durban July and that’s what I told my artists.

She asked ‘Unsta isn’t it a little short?’ We laughed and I joked ‘They might aswell talk about my legs this weekend and leave my bum and tummy alone’
I sent the sketch to my hat maker @anitaferreiradesigns and gave her The FORMATION brief and she and Asanda started working on fabrics and beading ideas.
Lastly I sent the sketch to Dr Makaziwe Mandela who owns @houseofmandela to finish the look. As global ambassador I was elated to be able to wear such glorious pieces.
