It’s been a busy month with the Holden! 🇦🇺 Super Touring Power at Brands Hatch up first. The car performed brilliantly! The same event last year it didn’t finish any races at all. This time it was up at the front fighting for wins against much younger machinery 💪🏻 Onto the Gold Cup at Oulton Park. A few big ‘experimental’ changes made to the car after Brands meant it was a voyage of discovery as to if the changes had worked as we hoped. An interesting weekend unfolded with a half shaft breaking in Race 1 and then after starting dead last in Race 2 and getting up to third on lap 6, the gearbox gave up 🤦🏻♀️ As is the case with historic race cars, they are incredibly needy! 😵 Think Dad has earned a well needed rest from car prep for a while, but we’ll be back on track in the next couple of months 🙏🏻 Thanks to @mat_acton for the great pics!

Had a great day with the @apautomotiveevents Gurston Down Hillclimb event last weekend! In absolutely pouring down conditions the hardy still turned up and supported, before the wonderful sunshine came out for the Q&A and remained for the afternoon. Money was raised for the @starsappeal charity, and a winner was picked for best car in show and many many runs up the hill were completed!
