Pakistani dramas have quietly disappeared from Netflix, Amazon and other OTTs; even here in the UK. Apart from the odd film on Prime, it feels like our stories have been erased. And yet our dramas aren’t political! They’re about households, families, and everyday life, loved across South Asia and globally (especially by Indian audiences). To see this erasure bleed into platforms outside of India is extremely scary, unfair, and deeply alarming. We need to talking about this more and protesting against this blockade. #PakistaniDramas #StopCulturalErasure #SouthAsianStories
Some mornings it feels like the world is crumbling; wars on the news, disasters back home, tragedies in the most unexpected places. The weight of it can make you wonder if this is even a world safe enough to raise children in. But maybe part of survival is finding meaning in the chaos and holding on to empathy, to love, to the small pockets of humanity that still shine through. Because when everything feels unsafe, perhaps the only safe space we can build is within ourselves and each other. #FindingLightInDarkness #WorldInFlux #CollectiveHope
