The Society and an Uncomfortable Woman! I wanted to be the kind of girl who gets led by everyone — the one who obeys, pleases, quietly fits in. But I failed. I failed to become the person everyone wanted me to be. I tried. I really did. I tried to be the daughter my family wanted, the woman society expected. But I failed — and I thank myself for that. Because I was never meant to live by anyone else’s script. My words make people uneasy. My actions don’t fit their comfort zone. I know I’m not easy to deal with — but I am not cruel. I don’t hurt or disrespect people, even when they do it to me. Now, after 40, I’ve made peace with myself. I live my life on my terms — freely, honestly, unapologetically. If that offends someone, they can ignore me, block me, hate me. I truly don’t care. Because for every person I make uncomfortable, there are others who love me, who understand me, who find strength in my truth. And most importantly — I love myself. I am not broken. I am simply uncomfortable for a world that fears real women. I love you, Azmeri Haque Badhon — the woman you finally chose to be.
Today marks my 14th birthday as a mother. What a journey it has been! Becoming a mother was entirely my own decision — and it remains the best decision I have ever made. The path wasn’t easy. I faced countless challenges and obstacles along the way, but motherhood shaped me into the woman I am today — a confident woman who has raised a beautiful daughter on her own. Now, that little girl has become my mother and my best friend. 💛 I truly believe that every woman should have the right to decide for herself whether she wants to be a mother. It should never be a choice made by family or society. Through all the chaos, struggles, and sleepless nights, I have deeply enjoyed my journey of motherhood. And today, my heart is full of just one feeling — gratitude. Grateful that I have her in my life. ❤️
