Beth Dover Instagram – Today, you are 9. It’s trippy because my iPhone regularly reminds me of the passage of time. Sometimes it’s humbling-like when it gives proof of my deep commitment to wearing long tiny scarves with a tank top. But then there you are—just 8 months old, swinging in a park in NYC. There you are at 5, perched in a tree, flashing rock-and-roll devil horns. There you are, baking cookies with Grandma. There you are, one year old in a three-piece suit. There you are, all swagger on the soccer field. There you are, doing the ‘spoon thing’ with Daddy, making us laugh so hard—something you don’t remember now. But we do. We always do. All these moments that are years ago and yet right now. We love you so much, Eli. And we can’t wait to be reminded of all the memories yet to come.
