Come enjoy our cherry tree esplanade along the Harlem River in Inwood, Manhattan this spring! We have over 80 Kanzan, Okame, and Yoshino cherry trees that will bloom this week through early May 🌸
Designed by renowned landscape architect and beloved NYRP board member @janiceparkerjpla, this esplanade was planted as part of NYRP’s #MillionTreesNYC Initiative with NYC Parks in 2007 🌳
📍 WHERE: Harlem River Greenway (Inwood, Manhattan)
📅 WHEN: The trees on the esplanade bloom starting late-March through early May, with peak bloom often in early April.
