The Government is making a major change to the Gold Monetisation Scheme.
From March 26, 2025, you CANNOT open new:
• Medium-Term Deposits (5–7 years)
• Long-Term Deposits (12–15 years)
But the scheme is NOT fully closed:
• Short-Term Deposits (1–3 years) are still open via select banks.
• Existing Deposits will continue safely till their maturity.
