Candice LeRae Instagram – 9 years already!? Seems like it wasn’t long ago I was heading out on my first trip to wrestle in Japan and you gifted me a box and told me, “You can’t open it until you’re there.” When I arrived at my hotel I immediately opened my bag, took out the box and saw envelopes? One for every day I was going to be away in Japan. Super cute!
Each envelope contained a sweet message and a piece of a puzzle. Halfway through the trip I knew the puzzle was definitely missing a piece. After a couple of weeks away, I headed home. Super excited to see what this missing piece could be. To my genuine surprise the last piece of the puzzle was a proposal.
We got married ( at Disney 🤗) and 2 weeks later packed up whatever we could fit in your car and moved to Florida so you could officially start with full time at NXT. Just 2 newlyweds who met on the indies with a car full of hopes and childhood dreams.
Just like the little box I opened in Japan, this 9 years of marriage has been full of pieces of a puzzle that is simply “Us”. A puzzle that somehow never seems to be missing any pieces.
