Founded by mother–daughter duo Phyllis Mitchell and Christine Eades, @MahoganiCollections began in Detroit as a jewelry brand rooted in craftsmanship, individuality, and storytelling. What started with handmade accessories evolved into a full-fledged fashion label — blending sculptural textures, luxe fabrics, and timeless silhouettes that celebrate legacy, artistry, and the power of family.
Phyllis long dreamed of becoming a designer, and with her daughter’s encouragement, that dream became a generational reality. Today, Mahogani has shown at Indie Fest Detroit, Michigan Fashion Week, New York Fashion Week with @thebombfashionshow — and I brought their designs to Paris.
It’s an honor for me to use my platform to shine a spotlight on emerging designers who might not always have the opportunity to be seen on a global stage. I don’t take my calling for granted and I’m gonna keep going—no matter what. Because when one of us rises, we all do. ✨
