So sad to hear that Val Kilmer has passed. I met Val in 1984 ,in a dilapidated van that had a door missing.We had just attended Vincent Gallo’s wedding to a girl named Denise(?) in NYC. The van took a bunch of us to the wedding reception in Jamaica , Queens. Super fun memory of that day… Years later ,I’d work with him in “The Doors” & “Batman Forever” He was so talented & interesting. I know he struggled over the years with his health,and was a fighter. Fun NY morning! @4cryingartloud and I ran out to Brooklyn @8am today to hit the @mta sale.Was so happy to run into @misterkaves which made my day.He should be the mayor. Also saw @sienberri from my old neighborhood. Loved seeing 100’s of people picking up signs.Some were true NY’ers who chose a sign because it had deep meaning to them(home,childhood,fav hangout) Others were just collectors.Im still wishing they’d bring back the metro card..That Omni one is ugly and meaningless to me🤣. Sales on tomorrow too.Stillwell and Ave x Hope all the $$ they made, goes into making the subway even better. Things went from $25-$1500.The chairs were $900.each) I got a metal circle sign for my collections. Nostalgic 🗽❤️ Debi for #MissSubway 💯🤣💃🏻

I had a secret crush on him when I was 16.He looked like & had the demeanor of the gangsters of the 1950’s.Meanwhile a ,quiet handsome Cuban, with a wicked sense of humor&style.Devoted to his Mom, who he visited regularly uptown and was the lucky one who got home cooked meals on a regular basis. Loved nights @ Mickey Ruskin’s 1 University, where I was a waitress.Louie would be with Cookie Mueller, Stephen Sprouse,Terry Toy,Rene Ricard Linda Yablonsky,Claudia Summers etc.Good times,laughs..and that fabulous jukebox 🎶 ❤️ Louie made me feel like I was ‘doing good’ ..proud of my trajectory in career.Always the big brother watching over my photo shoots with @stevenmeiselofficial or nights on the town w/ @themarcjacobs and the gang.He was a Super agent who loved his girls,and spoke of them with pride.One of a kind,a true NY fixture.This one hurts.Unexpected.. My condolences to his Mom and brother..and to all who loved him.
