Deepika Venkatachalam Instagram – Our 3rd Diwali together 💗 and 2nd Diwali for our home.
It all began during Diwali, two kids sitting cross-legged on the floor, surrounded by fairy lights and a hundred dreams, deciding to rent a beautiful house.
No big plan, just excitement, hope, and that warm belief that love would somehow figure the rest out.
Fast forward to now, two years later, that very house became our world and saw everything with us. Laughter, silence, fights, and love in its purest form.
So many downfalls, so many nights when everything felt too heavy but somehow, I can challenge that this home never saw a day without love. And I think That’s our biggest win. :’)
Somewhere between paying bills and cooking dinner together, we grew up.
But not too much, because the kids in us are still here.still fighting like siblings (apo apo enakku doubt varum lol), still screaming, still dancing for no reason.
Maybe that’s what love really does. It grows you up but never lets you forget how to play. It makes every Diwali feel like a reminder that no matter what the world throws at you, you’ve got your own light and someone who keeps it burning with you.
And now, with every prayer, I find myself moving from “Enga kuda iru. Nalla paathuko”
to “Ellaaryum nalla vechiko.” ♥️
Doing it 100x times over today because love, when it’s real, makes you want everyone to feel that same warmth.
