When I first saw the Japanese poster of our film @allweimagineaslightfilm , I instantly fell in love with it …it became one of my absolute favourites. I remember asking @kyoko_dan_ then to save a copy for me. And she actually did! She kept it safe and later handed it to @sanju_surendran and the team when she met them in Busanfilmfest last month .
it’s even more special because the poster captures one of my favourite scenes from the film , the moment where Anu (the character I played) stands in a state of confusion and quiet frustration. As a train passes behind her, the wind gently brushes through her hair …a fleeting, tender moment that says so much without a single word… its purely Payal’s magic
