Felicia Day Instagram – I’m progressing through my projects, slowly but surely! The project that’s up next is for the fabulous @feliciaday
I’m adorning a black hoodie that Felicia sent a while back with a new floral design recently added to my @thangs3d profile.
For this project, I’m using 11 colors of @bambulab_official PLA silk with 3 ams units linked together, printed onto black illusion mesh from @dfwfabricmart
I used @shapr3dapp to create the pattern using measurements from the hoodie. I then created a 3d body to use as a negative modifier in my 3d slicer (Bambu studio or Orca Slicer). I created 10 12 build plates and copied the floral pattern onto each of them. I loaded in the negative modifiers and voila, I’ll start printing. This will be a total of around 30 hours of printing in total. I’ll create a new reel once all of the pieces are printed, ready for assembly.
