Last weekend we joined the World Wool Forum, hosted by @lidewijedelkoort, @philipfimmano and @isabellarossellini at Ilaria Venturini Fendi’s incredible estate – @icasalidelpino – on Etruscan land, surrounded by 600 sheep and only 9 km from the Colosseum.
A flock of artists, designers, artisans and farmers came together to champion the heritage and importance of wool – its care for the planet, animals and our wellbeing. With the rise of synthetic fibres and fast fashion, wool production has vanished from many countries; it’s time to bring it back.
