We aren’t born with it. We learn it.
I’ve watched my daughter at 9 months take her first steps, having never done it before and falling countless times without an ounce of self doubt. She believed she could, so she did.
Your dreams are not too big.
You’ve just been conditioned to believe they are so someone else can live them.
My brand @saltair was not my first step. There were years and years of falling flat on my face first.
But everytime the self doubt crept in I reasoned with it and considered what would happen if I let it win over my lofty goals and “delulu” dreams and everytime I choose to push past it and slam the door of doubt behind me.
There’s no completely avoiding self doubt (unless any of you have managed to?) it will probably show up throughout life in different areas or seasons. But you, and only you get to choose how you react to it.
And if no one’s reminded you lately (or quite possibly ever) YOU deserve it all. The dreams, goals and unapologetic success in your life.
And as I stood in front of these strangers, friends and team that are like family to me I thanked myself for never letting the self doubt prevail because Saltair would never have happened.
This is has been one of the most personal launches to date, Driftwood is a scent that tells my story of resilience, confidence and the exhilarating feeling of chasing your wildest dreams.
