Jennifer Beals Instagram – Once upon a time, I made a T-shirt from a photograph I took. The origin story of the image is dear to my heart. Riding in a car on the way to an L Word premiere @Ilenechaiken told me yet another hardship that Bette and Tina would have to go through. I drew the image in the window condensation almost as a prayer to keep Bette and Tina together. I photographed the image as a remembrancer.
TWENTY years later I made the image into a tshirt because I needed a black-and-white T-shirt to put under a blazer, but when some of you saw it, you made it clear to me that you wanted it, too. I realized how quickly a community can coalesce over a simple object that expresses love. By popular demand, I am bringing this super soft T-shirt back.
