The Really Loud House is a live action version of The Loud House Nickelodeon cartoon. At the time of the audition they didn’t have scripts, so I was given a scene from one of the animated episodes. (Full disclosure: I had never seen the cartoon before getting this audition!) I booked the Series Regular role of Rita Loud, mom of 11(!) and the show was on the air for 40 episodes and a Halloween movie. The most fun time ever. Crazy to think they only had one 3 page scene for a Series Regular audition, right? Brian Stepanek and I had quite a long chemistry read on Zoom with the producers, and we FULLY benefited from knowing each other a little bit beforehand. We both teach and had a short hand that we used daily. Working together was a gift.
