Karena Lam is a daring explorer who is unafraid to step outside her comfort zone. In her first role in the English mini-series “The Season,” she not only performs in English but also takes on a role that challenges the public’s established perceptions of her.
While the mini-series will premiere next year, Karena has already shared her insights into her experience of acting in English during our cover interview, discussing the allure of acting: “I believe that the connections between people are fundamental to acting. Each actor’s interpretation is distinct because we all have different views and imaginations regarding the same topic. With our varied life experiences, if ten people perform the same scene, there will be ten completely different interpretations. This is what makes acting so fascinating; it allows us to see the essence of human nature.”
