Installed on October 14th, 2025, Ocean Gaia rests 5 metres beneath the surface off Tokunoshima, Japan — the nation’s first underwater sculpture. Weighing 45 tons and spanning 5.5 metres, it features a serene portrait of Kiko Mizuhara, @i_am_kiko becoming both artwork and living reef.
Echoing the rhythms of the sea and the island’s maternal landscape, Ocean Gaia celebrates healing, connection, and the ocean as the original womb of life. 🌊✨
