Switzerland has never let us down, I am eternally grateful to be able to spend so much time in this incredible, healing place. My bath this morning, when I was a child my mother had to put up with me sitting on her bathroom floor chatting away while she got ready for the day, she never shooed me away. She was a brilliant picture framer, the flowers she painted, framed & mounted, she also framed this drawing by Cecil Beaton that you can see @hawardenestate, and the photograph was taken by Cecil of my Mum, she later found it in a drawer and framed and mounted it herself. She was also a huge Neil Diamond fan and lived in New York in the late sixties.

It’s called @loveitorlistituk and it features @philspencertv, please tell me if you have spotted him in New Zealand recently, and Sadie, Sadie Married Lady 😜 Joking aside this is a very special show about a lovely family in a kind community, it’s the type of show which makes me want to continue doing this job forever. 😘

No prizes for guessing what we are working on this week. Last night we paid a very special visit to @lacquerchest where @nancyliberty was manning the fort and we talked about all things Christmas. You’ll have to wait for @kirstieshandmadechristmas to see all our other lovely guests and festive makes but it did genuinely put me in a festive mood 🎄🤶🎁
This is an odd post but I know this is the right place for it. These bird prints were my Grandmother’s and I always loved them. They were damaged in a flood years ago and have deteriorated further, but I know there is some clever paper artist who could restore them.
