Lauren Lopez Instagram – I have put off posting because trying to convey my feelings & this experience in an insta post stressed me OUT. It’s impossible; I could talk about this team & process forever. Whatever I say here still feels insufficient so just KNOW THAT.
Directing was a dream come true. Leading this team was an honor. AND getting to revisit a character I love so much?! I am grateful to Nick, Brian & Matt for their trust. Directing this project was very meaningful to me on a personal level, not to be emo!!! But it’s true. It’s been a journey to get here.
I am so proud of, and in awe of, this team and their incredible & unique talents. I am endlessly grateful to each person for trusting me, for collaborating so freely, and for putting their ALL into making this show and this experience the absolute best it could be. Everyone’s talents are on FULL DISPLAY here! And what a gift it was to witness those talents and to know these amazing people. Not only is this team immensely gifted, but they are so kind. I am so thankful.
Thank you so much to everyone who championed this show, from the KS to the live shows to now the digital ticket. I hope when you watch this show you not only recognize the beautiful work, intention and commitment that went into it, but the joy and love as well.
