It’s a battle between two versions of myself, burying the part that lived for validation, that shrank to make others comfortable… and her… my ego. The bold, fearless, unapologetic side that’s been waiting to take control for a long time. Not reborn, just revived. I wrote this at a time when I felt completely overlooked by my previous label. I needed to unleash a different side of me one that could act as my protection.
