Being from Iran but unable to go back, Nowruz always felt bittersweet. But this year, something shifted. Maybe it’s the way my life is expanding, the way my work is taking me places, or just the simple joy of embracing every part of who I am.

So, in the middle of my chaotic schedule, I decided to celebrate properly.
Sourcing the Haft-Seen elements in Bombay wasn’t easy, but thanks to @cafemommyjoon I made it happen. I set up my Sofreh, gathered my friends, and watched as they curiously engaged with my culture.
reading, asking, learning. It reminded me that even if I can’t go back home, I can always bring home with me. 🪻✨
