He’s loyal, loving, and a natural leader who shows up and gets the job done. I’ve asked a lot of Amil over the years, and let me tell you, he always delivers. Amil put me on the phone with Kenya Barris, which led to me working on Black-ish. I told him I wanted to speak to Snoop, and next thing I know I’m filming a movie with Snoop and Lil Rel! 😎🎬 Some of the projects and films I’ve done came through Amil, and he always makes sure folks go through the proper channels, contacting my agents and all. Having family that supports your career and knows the etiquette…that’s something special, honey! Let me tell you…I was a little old school and I used to resist the idea of being on social media. Amil talked me into it, then turned around and hired my social team so I could stay connected to all of you beautiful people. ❤️ From city to city, set to set, and event after event, Amil has shown up and had my back. And he doesn’t just show up for me and the family, he shows up for himself too. He’s a gifted music producer and songwriter with song placements on TV shows, too many to count. And if that’s not enough, he’s even certified in energy healing and sound therapy! Hospitals have brought him in to help treat their medical staff. Celebrity artists have hired him for wellness work. When I was in the hospital, he was right there by my side, bringing in his wellness team to treat me too. That’s love in action. When you raise them right, honey, they’ll bless you beyond your dreams and Amil has truly done that for me. Happy Birthday, G-son. Grandma Marla loves you dearly. ❤️
