Ming-Na Wen Instagram – 🌟Let’s dive in with some of the incredible milestones our friend @mingna_wen has already accomplished-beginning with getting a ⭐️ on the Hollywood Walk of Fame last year and became a Disney Legend in 2019! She portrayed bounty hunter Fennec Shand on “The Mandalorian” and its spinoff “The Book of Boba Fett.” She says “winning the Saturn Award, (awarded to sci-fi and genre work) is her Oscar!”
⚡️Ming-Na is a Chinese-American actress who after “The Joy Luck Club,” joined the cast of the hit series “ER” as Dr. Jing-Mei “Deb” Chen and became the first Disney princess of Asian descent by voicing the lead in “Mulan,” making a cameo appearance in the 2020 live-action adaptation. She joined other popular fandoms such as “Street Fighter,” “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” and voiced Detective Ellen Yin in “The Batman.” She’s also featured on Goldsea Asian-American Daily’s ‘100 most inspiring Asian of all times.’
❤️Oh wait, there’s more…most recently she was talent agent Janet Stone on “Hacks,” and will be seen in “Karate Kids Legend,” coming out in May. Ming-Na is the daughter of chefs, so how exciting that she’s currently at work on a cookbook. Talk about an incredibly busy, blessed bad ass mother, wife and all around inspiring woman and yet she still has time to be a part of our community! We are so lucky❣️❣️ | Posted on 21/Mar/2025 03:33:00
