Being a mother is a constant balancing act between building a career I’ve worked so hard for and raising my daughter to be a kind, compassionate, smart and a genuine person. Some days, I wonder if I’m doing enough, especially for my own goals. Other days I wonder if I’m doing a good enough job being a parent. It’s confusing and overwhelming at times. Teaching her patience while trying to find patience myself is challenging. When I get overcome with these emotions it’s usually on the days that I’ve been in my Pj’s all day and felt like I’ve gotten nothing accomplished but tea parties and play-doh animals. Then I look at her doing something silly to make me laugh and I’m reminded that THIS is the most important work I’ll ever do. I don’t know who needs to hear this but let’s stop putting too much pressure on yourself. Let’s give ourselves some grace, because we are SO blessed!!! The more grace we give, the more gratitude we feel and with that gratitude, even more greatness will find us. 💪🏼🩷

Working on self care in moments when I get a little alone time (which is not often) It’s the one thing I struggle with the most. I tend to give all of me to everyone else BUT myself.
