Rachel Miner Instagram – After 8 years leading the charge as @RandomActsOrg’s incredible Executive Director, Rachel Miner has decided to step down to start new chapters in her life. She has been a tireless, inspiring, devoted leader of this organization for almost a decade and we couldn’t be more grateful. And while she is stepping down as ED, she is not leaving RA. I am happy to announce that she’s joining our Board of Directors. So, thank you, Rachel — and welcome to the Board!

Today is my last official day as Random Acts Executive Director. I’m in no way leaving this organization, I will be moving to the Board of Directors as of Oct 1st , but today marks the ending of 8 years of what has been the most life changing and important chapter of my story. I cannot possibly succinctly articulate or do justice to the profound way each and every one of the volunteer staff I’ve worked with across these years or the participants in our acts and projects has forever changed things for the better, in my life certainly, and I believe with my whole heart in the world. To see first hand the profound and genuine compassion of so many, to witness every day the capacity we each have to make existence better for those around us and touch the lives of those near and far…. As I say, I can never find all the right words to encompass the magnitude of feelings I have for this organization or this community, but I promise I will never stop trying!! Also the deepest thank you to @misha and the rest of this dynamic Random Acts Board for entrusting me with this incredibly rewarding role as Executive Director for these years and now championing me in my new phase as Board Member!
I love you all in this @randomactsorg family so completely and my gratitude to you is beyond measure!
