Richa Chadha Instagram – So #Masaan completes a decade ! Wow! Thank you for all the love you’ve showered on this film over the years. Some of the singularly most satisfying, rewarding, unsettling, uncomfortable days of my life were because of Masaan… and I mean everything in a good way, it was an education for me, as an artist and a human being. Whenever I am low, I think of this lil gem in my filmography that no one can take away from me. This experience left me richer – in compassion and with friends!
Till date, it irks me when someone says ‘Devi Pathak got punished for her bad deeds’… because in writing her @vidushak and @neeraj.ghaywan held no shred of judgement! She is punished as many are, till date for a healthy curiosity . What a debut by both @neeraj.ghaywan and apna superstar @vickykaushal09 ! Everyone was special in this film and truly it had a magnificent team. Thank you @pujabanerji @karunadutt @ and now saddi homegrown Oscar aali @guneetmonga ! Each and every person who worked on the film, thank you. Through the vagaries of life, I hope you remember the experience of working in this… with a smile. I am producing now, so I know it was a team of dreams… and held together by love! The love of @neeraj.ghaywan and what his presence in my life has taught me.
Masaan continues to be loved and remembered because it is honest in its demand for compassion, and we the audience are loved by its earnestness. You remember how the film made you feel. And you never forget HOW something made you feel.
It is amazing for the artist and everyone involved.
