Rutvi Bhatt Instagram – I’ve always been career driven, self-made and I still fully am. I have dreams I’m chasing and a lot of things I want to achieve!! But for the longest time I was under the false impression that someone like me can’t like domestic chores like cooking.
But I was proven wrong when I fell in love. Truly being in love with someone meant u wanted to pamper them, you wanted to love them & do things to help them & make them feel happy — and it didn’t matter if those tasks were domestic or career oriented tasks.
💕💕I fell in love with cooking for him. The smile on his face when I cooked him a meal and how satisfied he felt made me just as happy I feel when I achieve academic or professional success.
The point here is that – doing domestic/homely chores does not have be mutually exclusive with being driven. 💼👩🍳
👩👧& ofc I know 100s of women who cook, clean, raise kids and work — but this is the first time I realized that you can LOVE both those sides. There’s a difference in doing something because you have to vs doing something cause it makes your soul happy — & to me my work and my love both make my soul happy 🫶🏼
So here’s to love, the love that makes you want to do things for your partner. This applies to guys and girls both. If you have found a love where you want to go above and beyond to just see a smile on your partner’s face – YOU HAVE WON 🏆 🥇
