Thank you @grihshobha_magazine for this unexpected honour.
I had no idea that sharing my personal anecdotes, struggles and a little wisdom as a parent and a mental wellness coach was being so graciously received.
This award is a career first and such a wonderful motivator to stay on this new path. I hope that I can continue to bring some relief to fellow parents with my honest and candid posts. And here’s to exerting some good “influence” while I can.
I owe this award to my daughter because of whom I get to call myself a parent. She is the reason I want to keep being a better version of myself.
I owe it to my parents and my Chacha who have loved me unconditionally and made me feel safe all these years and that is the cornerstone of parenting; loving your kids and making them feel safe to be whoever they choose to be.
I share it with my husband @dontpanic79 who has been a 50% partner in my parenting journey. He’s been my greatest supporter and champion in all my endeavours. And he has silently watched me evolve into so many different versions of myself and loved me despite it all.
And I owe this to my nanny Narbada who holds up half the sky for me so I can go about fulfilling all my pursuits. She has sacrificed seven years of raising her daughter to stay with us and help me raise mine.
