Sophia Bush Instagram – UN General Assembly Week is always so inspiring because it’s always filled with brilliant minds, luminary thinkers, and people coming together to design — and commit to building — a better future for the planet.
And in the midst of all of that brilliance, we had some beauty too. On Wednesday night we celebrated the @esteelauder Emerging Leaders Initiative and the second cohort of the Beautiful Forces grants, in partnership with our dear friends @VitalVoices. The Beautiful Forces grants support women from around the world who are leading NGOs, businesses, or initiatives that advance a bold idea for positive social change.
We gathered after the first few days of programming, symposiums, sweeping speeches, and brainstorms, to celebrate @heartofnepal @aishworyashrestha @kuska_pe @jo182 @oluwaseyi.kp @pawencommunity @pauline.otila @apiventure2018 @srishtipragat @skysocialong @stellunak @when.org.gr. At a time when so many corporations are doing nothing, or worse doing harm, it’s a gift to see one whose mission is to make women feel unstoppable ensure that women around the world ARE unstoppable, and arm them with the resources, support networks, and mentorship to grow bigger and more successful year after year.
