Sulem Calderon Instagram – 🪶HAPPY INDIGENOUS PEOPLES DAY 🪶 We acknowledge the past and what Native people have had to experience to be here today. So we celebrate the present existence of Indigenous people and all the good medicine they bring to our relatives and to the lands. I’m happy we got to celebrate & run for our indigenous people on an amazing Sunday because I do stand with deep gratitude for our ancestors whose strength carried us through, and for the original caretakers of this land here in California and across Turtle Island — The Indigenous nations who lived, thrived, and honored this place LONG BEFORE COLONIZATION. Today we celebrate not only survival, but resilience, culture, and the living heartbeat of Indigenous people everywhere. May we continue to run with their prayers, walk with their medicine, and honor their presence as the true stewards of this land.
