Arifwaran’s artistry has always been a gift – a language beyond words, a bridge between worlds
From his mercurial dance movements to towering sculptures of puppetry and visual personifications, he has touched countless souls with his creativity.
An ASK graduate, co-founder of Shakti Dances, and an internationally awarded artist once based in Hamburg, Germany, Arif has dedicated his life to the Arts. But today, the stage is set for a
different story – one that calls for our support.
Arif was found colapsed on a pavement, with his family only learning of his condition many days later. He has been hospitalised for weeks, diagnosed with leukemia and starting chemotherapy. His
elderly mother and older sister, visit often; navigating both the emotional and financial weight of this crisis. The Shakti Family is also trying to home his many works of art in danger of being lost.
